Blackened Ash Entry Table

This is a perfect example of how a project can evolve. My client sent me a photo of table from Pottery Barn and asked if I could build something similar but in the dimensions she wanted. We evolved the design into something far more beautiful than any big flat pack box store can offer.

Ash wood is absolutely beautiful and supply greatly exceeds demand at the moment because of the trees than have to come down due to the Ash Bore. In 20 years, Ash will be more expensive than walnut, but for now it is less than half the cost.
